Welcome Welcome to Suicide as a Public Health Problem. This course is designed to introduce students to the history of and theories about suicide as well as its epidemiology, etiological factors and mechanisms. We’ll also discuss clinical phenomenology and co-morbid disorders. Students will learn how suicidal behavior is assessed and how it can be prevented and treated.
