Welcome to Refugee Health Care.
This course aims to provide an introduction to a subject of steadily increasing importancethe health care of refugees and internally displaced persons. Although the focus of this course is on displaced persons in developing countries, reference will be made to refugee issues in developed countries. In this decade of increasing political instability and realignment, the international health community must be prepared to respond to the major disasters, including complex humanitarian emergencies.
