Welcome to Prevention of Mental disorders: Public Health Interventions. This course will present the basic principles and methods on the prevention of and early intervention with mental disorders and drug abuse. Over the course of the next 8 weeks we will be reviewing topics such as public health interventions that operate at multiple ecological levels, prevention and intervention trial design, community and institutional base building, intervention theory and monitoring, and data analysis techniques and findings. The course content will be presented through a series of lectures and assigned readings.
