• Developing applications for online course delivery
• Providing instructional design support for faculty wishing to convert courses into a distance education format
• Identifying outside funding sources, including partnerships with corporate sponsors, and coordinating them with grant-writing initiatives
• Developing marketable products capable of generating income
• Expanding markets for delivery of instruction beyond the confines of the current campus classrooms
• Facilitating effective methods of electronic student-to-student and student-to-faculty interaction
• Supporting faculty in identifying and using appropriate technology to improve instructional delivery methods
• Mirroring and supporting the direction and initiatives of the University at large
